5 ways to tie a kerchief: this summer tendency

Big square-shaped kerchief is an accessory that is rather versatile and can be used in plenty of various ways. Besides, it is one of the trendiest items this summer. You can wear your kerchief as a bandana, neckerchief or even a bracelet.
If you choose to wear your kerchief as a bandanna you need to fold it diagonally into a strip. This way of wearing a kerchief is great but looking too cowgirl-like is inevitable if you keep all the garments in this style with lots of corresponding patterns on the shirt and pants/skirt.
Put you new bandanna a bit sideways to avoid the necklace looking similar to a bib.
Neckerchief
One of the more traditional ways to wear a kerchief is to use it as a neckerchief. You should fold it diagonally and twist it a bit. The strip you get in result is to be tied on your neck in the knot you like.

Bracelet
A usual colorful kerchief can serve as an original adornment. Instead of wearing it on the neck you may want to twist it well enough and turn into a bracelet having tied it around your wrist a few times. The strip you get should be rather tight to prevent its unfolding.

Circlet
To be able to use a kerchiefs as a circlet you should make a tight strip from it (in the same way you made the bracelet). When it is ready put your hair in a ponytail and wrap the kerchief around your head. Depending on the size of the kerchief ends that are left unused you can make a knot from them or hide them so that they are not seen.

Bag adornment
A kerchief makes a girl wearing it more beautiful and feminine and it can do the same with the girl’s possessions.

For example, your old bag can be renovated if you tie a printed kerchief on its handle making a coquettish bow.

These are just a few examples of how you can treat your kerchief. Keep experimenting and you will find lots of other ways to use this nice item
