Jessica Simpson’s Fancy Love

When you’ve just broken up with somebody you love, you have two principal ways to heal your heart. You can either go drink and sob yourself to sleep or you can dive into your work completely to forget the person who breaks your heart.

Jessica Simpson who was dumped by her long-term boyfriend Tony Romo on the eve of her 29th birthday, has chosen the second option.

Jess who’s a successful entrepreneur with sold-out designer lines of apparel, shoes, beauty products and fragrances presents her latest Fall 2009 scent, Fancy Love.

Romance has never been more important to me so I wanted to celebrate that special feeling with this new fragrance,” Simpson said in a press release last month.

The fragrance is described as warm and floral truly embedding the essence of love and romanticism.

Jessica loves the feeling of being in love, she’s a romantic girl. The fragrance was inspired by love.

And she’s inspired by love,” Camuto Group CEO Vince Camuto said.

Jessica was really hands-on creating the new scent. She chose what scents to be included in Fancy Love, and she came up with the name adding “a touch of Jessica’s whimsy” to the product.

Mt. Caputo described Jess as “very smart” with a “high taste level” and knowing exactly what she wants to achieve.

That’s why the brand is working,” he added.

It’s hard to disagree. Last year Jessica Simpson’s Fancy became one of the best perfume launches with some $50 million in retail sales.
