CLOT 6th Anniversary & JUICE HK Re-Opening Event

CLOT celebrated its 6th anniversary with a special ground floor opening of its JUICE retail location in Hong Kong. The event not only played host to a who’s who of guests but also provided exclusive items to CLOT fans and a new addition the brand’s retail set up. Images of the event can be seen below.

The interior of the shop simulates a warehouse with the use of raw materials such as steel, wood and concrete. Black, white and brown serve as the main color tones and the JUICE neon light decoration at the back of the store creates a nice, eye catching contrast.

Honorable guests from Japan

CLOT invited Hiroshi Fujiwara and Kazuki Kuraishi from fragment design and NIKE Global Energy Marketing Director, Fraser Cooke, to be their guests of honor at the JUICE HK opening. Hiroshi and Fraser are no strangers to JUICE’s opening as they were also CLOT’s honorable guests at the JUICE SH opening in late 2009.

The Kitsune Music Night by Mr K, Mr A, Mr EDC and Mr KP at ROXIE

At CLOT’s 6th Anniversary Party at the ROXIE, CLOT invited DJ Kitsune from Paris to deejay for the night. Together with Andre from Paris, these fashion icons from the west definitely rocked the night. This was the first time for these icons appearing in Hong Kong after their announcement of their new shop opening in Paris.

This event was a show-stopper! Glad we had some good pics there for you peeps to see!

Black Scale 2010 Summer Collection

Black Scale founder MEGA puts us onto his latest collection for summer 2010. Utilizing some strong imagery and fonts, graphic tees are introduced alongside jackets and fitted caps. Look for these at your local Black Scale dealer in the near future.

Really dainty and simple for those who love combinations of black and whites. Admire the quirky artwork and rugged look, its worth it.

Takashi Murakami in Qatar

The king of superflat art, Takahashi Murakami will present a large-scale exhibition in 2012 at the most unlikely of places in Qatar. The exhibition is slated to be even larger than his Palace of Versailles exhibition slated for opening in September. Qatar’s 2012 exhibition comes on the heels of an involvement from the Qatar Museums Authority.

HYPE MEANS NOTHING x AMBUSH Preview

Known for their portrait-based designs HYPE MEANS NOTHING previews an upcoming release with Japanese jewelry brand AMBUSH. No word yet on exactly what the collaboration entails but stay tuned for more details.

Garni x MACKDADDY Skull Ring – Eproze Edition

Known for their hand-sculpted skull rings, Japanese jewelry brand Garni team-up with MACKDADDY on a special skull-ring. A smoky aesthetic is seen in purple with gold logos on the side. The ring is an exclusive for Eproze and available now.

Cool and spunky, this will make a good addition to your collection of rings and whatnot, that is if you have one to begin with first.

Frank Gehry for Las Vegas Cleveland Clinic

Although initially previewed last month, here we get a closer look into the work of esteemed architect Frank Gehry, who’s latest project saw its doors open in Las Vegas last month. Built with a steel structure exterior, the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health was given a unique look, showcasing Gehry’s knack for dramatic design in a town full of enormous displays. Where Food Stamps won’t provide education

CLOT x Nike Sportswear GS Polo Preview

CLOT develops a new series of GS Polo shirts from Nike Sportswear, featuring a slight twist of traditional Chinese embellishments, most notably the buttons. Several colors will release, all during the brand’s 6th Anniversary celebration and relocation into the ground floor of JUICE Hong Kong (June 18th). The polos will also be available throughout all JUICE stores and Clotinc.com.
